Water Bugs & ProblemsBugs:
Skeleton problemIf you playing the version 1.0.2 or lower and you are having trouble with the skeleton freaking out, there's two things you can do. You can either download the latest patch and restart the map by writing "map mm_area03" into the console. Or you load the scene where the skeleton is freaking out, make sure you are in shooting mode, and write the following into the console: "ent_fire breakable_dummy sethealth -1".
Howoever, if you are playing 1.0.3 or higher and you still have this problem, let us know. You can use the console to pass through this part in this case as well, but the command you should write into your console is: "ent_fire churchguard1 ForceLove". This will trigger the next scene if you are in the shooting mode.
How to enable the consoleIn your Steam Games Library select Water and right mouse click it and choose Properties. Click Set Launch Options and write "-console". Console will now appear when you load the game.
How to restart mapsWrite "map [mapname]" into the console. The introduction map name is "mm_intro", while the chapter's one to three are mm_area01, mm_area02, and mm_area03. So if you want to restart the third chapter write "map mm_area03" into the console.
How do I install the patch?Note that if you are already installed the mod with the most up to date installer (1.0.3) you wont need a patch.
To install the patch go to your SourceMods folder (depends on your Steam installation, but it's something like C:\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods) and unpack the "water" folder there. The files in the patch should replace older files in the "water" folder. You can test if you unpacked the patch correctly by opening the gameinfo.txt and seeing what version is mentioned in there like explained below.
Which version am I playingYou can look at either the name of the installer / zip file. Water.exe is version 1.0.0 while Water102.exe is 1.0.2.
You can also open your gameinfo.txt and see what version is mentioned there. First go to your SourceMods folder (depends on your Steam installation, but it's something like C:\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods). Then go inside the water folder and open gameinfo.txt with Notepad or other program. Just under the GameInfo on the third line it should say what version it is. If it doesn't mention anything you are probably playing 1.0.0 version.
How do I install localization files? To install localization files go to your SourceMods folder (depends on your Steam installation, but it's something like C:\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods) and unpack the contents of the localization zip file inside the "water" folder there. The localization files should be going inside the resource subfolder. If you normally use English steam you need to switch to the wished language in Steam settings to play Water in that language.
